Murph and his colleagues-known in-game as Mister Vee and Vily-comprise the military command of Clusterfuck Coalition. He decides where they are deployed, what armaments they carry and which objectives they fulfill. Known within the game as Lazarus Telraven, he is among three fleet commanders for Clusterfuck Coalition, the largest organization in Eve.Ī fleet commander controls up to 255 ships-that is, players. Perhaps CVs wee meant to balance BBs, but I've only seen one in a dozen battles, and it was a terrible guy not managing one hit against a lone Paris.Murph, a 24-year-old network engineer from Savannah, Georgia, has been playing Eve since 2006. Usually not enough focus to bring them down and they even both manage pretty well against DDs with great secondaries and speed/hydro respectively. Paris and Alldestroyer are extremey strong in this mode. Conversely, I've won every attempt in a BB. Unlike in Clan Battles, there's multiple BBs always happy to take potshots at you. Simply put, in a cruiser, Space Battles seem to be a pita. Several Auroras not using radar once sitting in a contested cap several DDs rushing a spotted Norma. ![]() Notably I barely managed to win once in a cruiser because (yes, of course I'm gonna blame something else than myself ) the moment I relied more on somebody scouting and pushing, I realized how absolutely horrendous the players are. (Alldestroyer certainly feels very much like my Kurfurst, despite me using a slightly different captain build.)īack to the topic though: As much as I rather liked Space Battles after the first day, I'm greatly disappointed the second day. ![]() Often it is one of the upgrades many people take anyway. Yes, the ships have some of the upgrades kinda baked in (Alldestroyer has the secondary range, Zaya has main batteryrange etc.).
